Promoting m.l.m. sites

This section deals with people  who are using  sites supplied by  M.L.M. companies. IE Six Figure Income, Viva Rebates, Cognigen etc. If you have built your own web site, refer to Web Master Freebies for information on meta tags, and designing to maximize  search engine rankings.
If you have read the pages headed  Getting Started and Advertising, one of the most powerful tools you have to promote your web site, is your e-mail base , and your press advertising. But don't just add a list of all your web sites at the end of each e-mail, people will just ignore them, instead copy the home page of the site you wish to promote, and save it in 'my documents' then simply add it as an attachment to your e-mail, make it worth their while to look at the attachment, for instance with Going Platinum, you can point out that they can benefit from the company  co-operative referrals. or with Cognigen mention the free pager as being particularly useful, always make sure there is a link to your site.
Another method is to feature a different M.L.M. program every month, just a few lines at the top or bottom of your e-mail, with a link to your site. You can customize your e-mails with your logo, or the logo of the product you are  currently promoting , using the free service provided by Bravenet, and by using auto responders to give your potential customers a feeling they are dealing with a professional organization. search engines.
Search engines are a very popular, and  effective way in which to publicize your site. These can be divided into two groups, the free search engines and the  pay per click search engines.   The free search engines of which there are 1,000's, you simply submit your site URL, with a short description,  and hopefully it will be listed usually within six weeks, some search engines check the content of your home page, others read the meta tags. Of all the search engines, it is estimated that the top 20 search engines generate 90%  of all searches. Resubmit your URL every month to all the search engines you use. There are several   companies who will submit your URL to several 1,000 search engines for a small fee, and some who will do it free,  see Webmaster Freebies.  Tip, submit the url of every page of every site you have.
The Pay per Click search engines, are a good source for generating new business, GoTo is probably  the best for promoting M.L.M. sites, you only pay for the people who visit your site. The more you pay the higher up you are on their rankings.

Your  own home page
Most ISPs give you enough web space free, to put up your own web page,usually for your own  personal use, although some may allow you to put links on to your own affiliate sites, Viva Rebates, Six figure income, Cognigen etc. With most copies of  Windows, 95,98,2000,ME 2000,there is a program called Front page ,  {start, programs, accessories, internet tools,}  Front page has a simple to use program, with a template that has built in links, you should have no difficulty in making a good looking site, with this quick and easy program.

Opt-in lists
Ask for your visitor's name and email address. In return, provide them with a valuable publication, a free course or some other valuable information. By continuously building your opt-in lists, you're creating a long-term database of potential customers.
Freebies
Give away something of value engraved with your name, business, product or service. Your freebie might be software you've created, a free ebook, or even a free course. 1. Your short-term marketing strategies will drive traffic to your web site in intervals. Each time you place an ad, your traffic will increase. After a few days, your traffic will drop off.
2. Your long-term marketing strategies will drive a steady stream of traffic to your web site. Your traffic will continue to increase over time.
3. Your ad must draw your potential customer's attention and create curiosity. It must lead them to click through to your web site.
4. Your web site will then take over and provide further information, while leading your potential customer to your order page.
5. Your order page will be packed with all of the benefits your product has to offer and call for action.
6. Your marketing plan will continue to be implemented by closing the sale with a thank you letter.
7. Your final step will be to send follow-up messages in the future to provide good customer service and introduce new products.A marketing plan is an absolute must.
